South Belfast Youth Football League

The South Belfast Youth Football League at the Agápē Centre

The South Belfast Youth Football League was formed in 1969, taking over from the Peace People’s League and has provided football for youngsters from 10 to 19 years old since then.

It has approximately 260 teams in the 2014/15  season.  Teams in the League come from all areas and communities in the Greater Belfast, Co. Antrim and Co. Down areas.

The South Belfast Youth Football League has also formed a new 7/9 aside league for 6- 10 year olds in conjunction with the IFA grassroots development.

The SBYFL now aims to be one of the strongest and best run youth leagues with over one hundred and twenty one referees and a dedicated committee of volunteers.
